This will be my last post of the year. I’ll be taking December off to focus on some other projects, my health, and the holidays.
I thought I’d close things out with me answering some questions, for once.
I turned down all interviews this year—except for one.
It’s with my friend Mark Shayler. He lives very far away, and we haven’t seen each other for years, but when he reached out to record a podcast, I conceded.
At the time, I was not in the shape to record a podcast. This was many months ago, and I was still mourning the loss of my marriage, my home, and my company (not knowing it would soon be acquired in the final hour).
I almost canceled the interview, but once I was on zoom, I thought… hell, why not. At the very least it’ll be interesting to hear what I sound like from this place one day.
So, here’s me, sharing wisdom from a dark time, earlier this year.
